Pool water should turn over completely every 4–6 hours. A 100 kL pool requires a pump capable of approximately 400–600 LPH at rated head pressure — not just nameplate flow.

Sand filters work for most residential pools. Cartridge filters suit smaller spa pools. DE filters provide the finest filtration for pools requiring ultra-clear water. We size filter vessel diameter to flow rate.

Undersized pumps that can't turn over volume adequately, oversized pumps creating excess backpressure, incorrect multiport valve sizing, and wrong pipe diameter to pump connections.

For Delhi NCR winters, budget roughly 1.2–1.5 kW of heat pump capacity per 1,000 litres of pool volume as a starting point. Covered pools need less; large outdoor pools need more.

Heat pumps are 3–5× more efficient per unit of heat than gas heaters and are preferred for regular use. Gas heaters heat up faster and suit pools used less frequently or needing rapid temperature recovery.

Always specify titanium heat exchangers for pools using salt chlorination or chemical dosing — stainless steel corrodes rapidly in chlorinated and saline water environments.

General guideline: one 18W–35W LED fitting per 25–30 m² of pool surface area as a minimum. Larger accent fittings at 50W+ can space further apart. Position fittings on long walls for best visual coverage.

Wet-niche fittings are recessed into the pool shell and require niches set during construction. Dry-niche fittings can be retrofitted into existing pools without emptying. We specify accordingly based on project type.

All underwater fittings must carry an IP68 ingress-protection rating and carry LV (12V or 24V) supply voltage. We never install mains-voltage fittings in pool water — a safety non-negotiable.

Saltwater chlorinators generate chlorine from dissolved salt — reducing chemical purchases and producing softer, gentler water. Ideal for residential pools with regular use. Requires titanium heating components if a heater is fitted.

UV systems destroy chlorine-resistant pathogens and dramatically reduce chemical demand when combined with a low-residual chlorination system. Excellent for children's pools and wellness spaces.

pH fluctuates with usage and water top-up. Automatic dosing systems measure pH continuously and dose acid or alkali to maintain the correct 7.2–7.6 range without daily manual testing.

Crystalline waterproofing (Sika WT-200, Dr. Fixit Krystalline) penetrates concrete and forms insoluble crystals in capillaries. Excellent for pool shells as it self-heals minor cracks over time.

PU coatings provide a flexible, seamless membrane suitable for pools with movement joints or older shells with minor flex. Two-coat application on prepared substrate.

Pool tiling requires flexible, water-resistant adhesive (C2TE class minimum) and epoxy or polymer-modified grout — standard cement grout fails within 1–2 seasons in pool environments.
